Dr Lauren Dyll-Myklebust

Dr Lauren Dyll-Myklebust is a lecturer at The Centre for Communication, Media and Society at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She lectures graduate modules in development and public health communication. She has extensive experience in the supervision of research related to these fields. She is a key contributor to the Kalahari research project entitled Rethinking Indigeneity, within which both her MA and PhD are based. Research interests and publication topics include: development communication, cultural tourism with particular emphasis on issues of identity as well as stakeholder relationships, critical indigenous qualitative research as well as autoethnography, and mediagraphy as methodology.
