INTRODUCTION

The main objective of our project was to investigate how effectively communication over the internet could be used to break cultural boundaries and to change the perceptions between children of different cultural backgrounds. It also sought to explore if cultural stereotypes could be dispelled through the use of the internet. Upon taking on this task we hoped that our project would result in a more educated and perceptive youth. Also we hoped that it would provide a foundation for further research into the possibilities with regards to the internet as a tool for these purposes.
