Samuel is a Ugandan broadcast journalist, academic and researcher. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Communication, Cultural and Media Studies at the University of Kwazulu Natal. His doctoral thesis focuses on the influence of media ownership on news content in Uganda. Samuel is also interested in human rights, international political economy and governance issues. In the year 2011, he was a communication and food security fellow at Oklahoma State University (USA). He is currently attached to Uganda Christian University.
