Norma Jele completed her BA Honours Degree in IsiZulu Studies, Media and Cultural Studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She has done extensive coursework including, inter alia, Advanced Cultural Studies, Advertising and Marketing, Cultural Studies, and New Media Studies: Critical Methodology. A team player, fluent in IsiZulu, English, and SeSotho. Norma’s career started when she worked as a Tutor for IsiZulu and Cinema Studies in 2016. She now has more than three years of experience in Marketing, Social Media Management, Web Management, and Journalism. Currently she is completing a Master’s degree in Media and cultural studies where she focuses on media’s role in promoting the consumption of indigenous vegetables to combat non-communicable diseases.
